PRIVACY POLICY

 

I. CONCEPTS

1.1. Personal data shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person;

1.2. Data processing shall mean any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, familiarisation, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;

1.3. Regulation shall mean the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

1.4. Cookie shall mean a small text file that a web page stores on a visitor’s terminal device (computer, mobile phone);

1.5. other terms as defined in the Regulation, the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the processing and protection of personal data.

2.2. Our website contains links to our partners: In Salvo UAB, Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Med Grupė UAB, KTU Startup Space and BTT Group UAB websites. We are not responsible for the proper handling and protection of your personal data on these websites.

2.3. Your personal data may be transferred to third parties in accordance with the procedure established by law.

IV. YOUR RIGHTS

4.1. The Regulation grants you the following rights:
4.1.1. the right to access your personal data processed;
4.1.2.  the right to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data processed;
   4.1.3. the right to restrict the processing of your personal data;
   4.1.4. the right to receive personal data relating to you which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format, and to transfer such data to another data controller;
 4.1.5. the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

4.2. In order to exercise your rights, you can submit to us a free-format application. The application can be submitted by e-mail info@jurisconsultus.lt or by visiting us in person. You can submit the application yourself or through a representative. To ensure the protection of personal data, we will ask you to confirm your identity. When submitting the application on your behalf, the representative must submit documents confirming his/her rights and obligations as a representative.

4.3. Your application will be processed no later than within 1 month from the date of receipt of the application. The period for processing your application may be extended to 2 months if, for important reasons, we are unable to process your application within 1 month. You will be notified of the extended period for processing your application no later than within 1 month from the date of receipt of the application. In the notice of the extended period of processing your application, we will also provide the reasons why we are unable to process your application within 1 month. 

4.4. We will provide you with a response to your request in the manner specified in your application. If you have not indicated in the request how you would like to receive a response, or if we are unable to provide a response in the manner specified in the application due to technical difficulties or other reasons, we will send you a reply to your e-mail address or your other contact information processed.

4.5. In case of non-compliance with the requirements of the Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data or other laws and legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the processing of personal data or other violations of your rights and freedoms, please contact us. If we are unable to assist you, please contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate in the procedure prescribed by law.
